Op.181 is the alias of a Hong Kong sound artist who gains inspirations from classical music, modern art and literatures.

Using various classic works as samples, Orchestral Drone, the debut album by Op.181, deconstructed and reconstructed Mozart and Chopin’s orchestral/choral/piano solo works using granular synth, creating a dreamy and hypnotic soundscape with orchestral / choral texture.

A must for fans of Max Richter (Four Seasons), William Basinski and Julianna Barwick.
